We all have the opportunity to be happy, what we do with that opportunity is on us. We all face challenges, some more difficult than others. The challenges the experiences as awful or as amazing as they may be, they do not define us. Those experiences may have an effect on our happiness but in the end we decide. Every single person decides. We have to make the decision to take the opportunity of happiness or to not.
